Marvin, also known by his Japanese version as Yaben Diyans (ヤーベン・ディヤンス) is a recurring supporting character in Jikyuu Powerful Pro franchise. He acts as an American version of Akio Yabe and serves as the best friend character and sidekick in the Success mode for the MLB Power Pros games.
In MLB Power Pros, he plays center fielder and is most notable for his Run Speed, despite being mediocre in almost everything else he does. In later games, he is retconned to play 2nd baseman and 3rd baseman better than being an outfielder.

Marvin shares Yabe's look for his white, gigantic coke bottle glasses which obscure his eyes. He's distinct from Yabe by his freckles and greenish-yellow hair.
Personality[]
Marvin is an easygoing and gullible person. He is a huge fan of Japanese anime, particularly the Gundar Robot. He also has a crush on Lucy.

In this game, Marvin has some of the lower stats compared to other players on your team. He starts the game with a trajectory of 1, a contact of 4, a low power of 41, a higher running speed of 8, an arm strength of of 5, and fielding and error resistence ratings of which are both at 4. He also has a nice amount of abilities which include the good bunt ability, the good stolen base ability, Head first slide, and he is also an aggressive stealer/ base runner.
