Power Pro-Kun (パワプロくん?) is the mascot and main character in the MLB Power Pros series.
Profile[]
Power Pro-Kun started as the sprite avatar for all baseball players in the early Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū games due to hardware limitation. Starting from Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū 4 and the debut of the Success mode, he became an avatar character for the player while other NPCs develop beady eyes (although in-game sprites still used the same character).
Power Pro comes with 5 skin color choices: Asian, white, tan, brown, and black. His name, position, forms, and base stats are all determined by the player upon beginning a Success mode.
In Jikkyō Powerful Major League and MLB Power Pro, he is known by the name "Power Major-kun". Meanwhile, in Power Pro Kun Pocket, he is known by "Power Pocket-kun".
